About 28 Wishes Ice Cream Shop

Premium Italian Ice Cream made fresh with the finest ingredients. Founded by two brothers passionate about bringing handcrafted ice cream to DTLA

Located at 755 S Spring St #101, Los Angeles, CA 90014, 28 Wishes Ice Cream Shop operates as an ice cream shop serving Los Angeles in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 1 pm–12 am. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (213) 221-7914. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

Customers rate it 4.8 out of 5 on Google across 282 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded ice cream & gelato in Los Angeles.

Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Los Angeles is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Tried a few flavors (matcha Oreo, Vietnamese coffee, ube, all tasty!) and ended up purchasing a pint of Ube home. Would buy all 3 but lets be responsible πŸ˜‹ The lady behind the counter said, all made with real food ingredients. Nothing is too sweet. (I honestly don’t have a sweet tooth). The matcha Oreo was made with ceremonial grade matcha powder. The blue Cookie Monster’s vibrant color was from blue spirulina powder (which made it officially a wellness supplement πŸ™ƒ). Would definitely go back for more. Street parking outside. Or the usual DTLA paid to park parking lots.

I tried the dark chocolate icecream, Strawberry Sorbet ,6 Cheesecake Bites. I enjoyed the Chocolate icecream and Strawberry Sorbet. The 6 Cheesecake Bites had strawberry cheesecake, chocolate cheesecake and cheesecake flavours. All of them tasted fresh, smooth and creamy. We enjoyed every bite of it. Ambience is good and staff is friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for ice cream, sorbet and cheesecake.

The service is great and staff is open to answering any questions you may have. They have some unique flavors like the matcha Oreo or Cookie Monster that are great. This is a great place to get some ice cream in the downtown area. A huge plus is they're open until 2am on weekends.

Owned by two brothers and rebranded in late-2024 28 Wishes Ice Cream Shop offers a unique spin on standard flavors utilizing good Ingredients in downtown Los Angeles. Asian inspired but rooted in Italian technique, the base thicker and creamier than many, it is inside the small space that guests will find two-dozen handmade flavors ranging from Ube and Matcha to Nutter Butter, a few complimentary tastes eventually yielding sweet Butter Beer and texturally complex Horchata for $12.40 on a Cone.

We had the Ferrero Rocher milkshake. It was so good! Even the butterbeer flavor was yummy. It was a little pricey, but for a once and awhile treat. So worth it. Plus, they have a reward system. We love this candy and in milkshake form was great. Staff was great, gave us a little discount for my boyfriends birthday. Definately will be back :)
